Great Meetings at the University of Georgia Open-Air Preaching
This video was recorded in the first week of March of 2011 at the
University of Georgia. The crowds have been quiet, subdued, listening all
week. Several students approached us every day to talk and expressed
interest in starting a Bible Study on campus. A student talked to us with
a very tender heart and we prayed together as tears flowed freely.
We usually take turns preaching and stay there sometimes for
3 to 5 hours. During the whole day we touch on a variety of subjects and
it always varies from day to day. At times because the crowd will be quiet
but settled (they are not going anywhere), we are able to preach sermons
and develop entire thoughts. Other times, we follow a rabbit trail and we
never know exactly what a day has in store.
We think that at 1:01 min in this video we can hear a girl in
the background saying, "I should be on my knees right now." We know
God is dealing with students as they stand and hear the Word.
The Word of God does not return void (Isa. 55:10-11)
